How to Make Soft Boiled Eggs
Fill a pot with enough water to come up one inche over the tops of the eggs.
- Add the eggs. Room temperature eggs work best.
Bring to a boil.
Cover the pot, turn the temperature down to low.
Set timer for 6 minutes.
Have a room temperture water bath ready. Once the timer goes off, soak the eggs in the water for 1 minute.
Keep the hot water in the pot. You can use the hot water to rewarm the eggs before serving/plating.
