That's a great question, and learning how long to cook spaghetti noodles relies on several variables yet is easy to follow. Many factors can affect the cooking time of spaghetti pasta, and it may vary from brand to brand and the type of pasta.

With so many different kinds of pasta out there, it can be hard to know when your favorite pasta is ready. For how long should you cook spaghetti? The general rule is between 9 and 12 minutes for dried types of pasta; however, if they are thin strands (angel hair), the suggestion is to try cooking them slightly below this time frame!
