Yes, it is possible to make hard-boiled eggs without the use of water. The technique almost makes too much sense to wonder why we haven't been doing this all along.

Hard Boiled Eggs without water

What you're about to see works. It works so well, I personally think the texture is better than the traditional way of making hard-boiled eggs.

Did you know? It will take water different amounts of time to come to a boil depending on where you live?

Check out the article below to learn more about this interesting food fact. Deviled Eggs/Boiling  Water

How To Make Hard Boiled Eggs Without Water

Let's begin. You will need an oven-safe container. I suggest using a cupcake/muffin tin.

In the experiment today we will be testing three different cooking times.

  • Egg #1 - 20 Minutes
  • Egg #2 - 25 Minutes
  • Egg #3 - 30 Minutes

Preheating the oven to 325 degrees. Eggs go into a cupcake tin and placed in the middle of the oven.

Next, add ice to a large bowl, cover the ice with water, equal parts.

For the test, we will be shocking the eggs as they come out of the oven. Which means straight into an ice bath to stop the cooking.

The Results...What's your guess? 20, 25, or 30 Minutes...
