Instant Pot Cook Times For Doneness
Using Stew/Meat Setting (Normal Temperature): Rare (12 mins), Medium Rare (15 mins), Medium (17-20 mins), Well Done (22-25 mins).Using "Pressure Cooker" Setting (HIGH Temperature): Rare (2 mins), Medium Rare (3 mins), Medium (5-6 mins), Well Done (10-12 mins).
Resting the Meat: Always allow your steak to rest after cooking. This ensures that the juices redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
Slicing Against the Grain: For the most tender eating experience, slice your steak against the grain. This cuts through the muscle fibers, making the steak easier to chew.
Fresh Herbs for Aromatic Touch: Fresh thyme and rosemary not only add beautiful aromatics but also infuse the steak with subtle, earthy flavors. These herbs complement the richness of the meat wonderfully.
The Importance of Salt: Himalayan salt not only seasons the steak but also brings a wealth of minerals to the dish. It's a healthier alternative to regular table salt and enhances the natural flavors of the meat.
