Today I’m going to show you something very cool you may have never heard of about your health. I’m going to introduce you to the Master antioxidant of all antioxidants. It’s so important to your health that it’s in ever single organism cell in all of nature. Yet isn’t available in most foods. Your liver does naturally create it, but it’s not enough for top health. 

How many times have you heard the broken record of, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day?”

I’ll tell you why…Want to know?

Answer: Something most people never even think about. Sleep…Sleep? 

What does sleep have to do with Breakfast. Simple: When you sleep your body works equally if not harder then during the day. Your body is repairing itself while you sleep. It’s the function of sleep. You probably thought it was all about your brain health. Sure that applies, but no where close to the rebuilding part of your body from of sleep and damage you create every single day of your life. Which is normal, but recovery varies person to person. 

Breakfast is the first thing you offer your body after it worked out all night long. And worked out very hard, on par with going to the gym and lifting weights. Are you mindful of what you eat after a hard workout? Great, after sleeping your body just worked out and needs the best nutrition of the day. Hence the saying Breakfast is the most important part of the day.

I would like to add, please start drinking water before bed. It’s like putting oil in the car. #important

The One Healthiest Breakfast Food You’re Not Eating

Broccoli Crunch Recipe


  •   2 heads of broccoli
  •   half of one red onion
  •   half a cup of roasted cashews / chopped
  •   yogurt – use what you like
  •  1 fresno chili / chopped
  •  3/4 cup of granola
  •  dried blueberries
  •  pinch of cayenne pepper
  •  1 1/2 T of honey
  •  garlic salt
  • black pepper
  • dried figs
  • red bell pepper
  • chia seeds
  • sliced almonds
  • dried currants
  1. Clean and rinse the broccoli. Cut the florets off the broccoli / remove the stem. Slice half of one red onion into thin slices. Same cut on one Fresno Chile, be sure to de-seed & de-stem. Add in the yogurt, blueberries, Granola, black pepper, honey, garlic salt, cayenne pepper, dried figs, dried currants, red bell pepper, chia seeds. 
  2. Mixer together well…

When preparing the broccoli there are two directions you could go

Clean/wash the broccoli and keep it raw
Clean/Wash the Broccoli – Part Two: Blanch the broccoli in hot boiling water for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then start into an ice bath to shock the Broccoli and stop the cooking. This also sets the bright color of the Broccoli. Over cook the Broccoli and the color will fade.
